"Time out
Since the spring of 2010, after a period of high activity, the EEI has taken a time out from major activities - for various reasons, including funding.
In October, Research Director Johnny Munkhammar was elected a Member of Parliament in Sweden. He will devote substantial efforts to the Swedish reform agenda and has thus chosen not to continue in the capacity of Research Director.
Still, there is a demand for EEI activities and many people are in EEI networks. There is thus a potantial for the organisation to resume its work, in new forms.
