Collet, Bernt Johan
Collet initiated the founding of the Centre for Political Studies (CEPOS) and is chairman of the executive board.
is King's Chamberlain and Master of the Royal Hunt. Agricultural education from 1962 until 1965 at the Naesgard Agricultural College. MBA in 1966. From 1968 until 1971 Collet worked for General Mills. General Mills is currently the 6th largest food company worldwide. In 1968 Collet acquired the country estate "Lundbygaard Gods", which encompasses more than 1000 ha and turned it into biggest Europe's largest fir tree producer. From the 1980s onward Collet has filled crucial positions in agricultural associations, educational centers, in companies in the financial industry and in academic societies.
From 1998 until 2005 Collet chaired the organization Civil Economists" (now C3 - Management and Economics, which is a Danish advocacy group of management and people employed in management education and academic studies of management. At the same time (1998-2005) Collet he was member of the administrative board of the Danish umbrella association of academic professional organizations. Also he was president of CIADEC (International Confederation of Associations of Graduates in Economic and Commercial Sciences) and the association of Nordic economists (Nordic Civiløkonom Federal).
Moreover Collet was Danish MP from 1981 until 1990 for the conservative party and in 1987/88 he was MInister of Defence in thegovernment of Poul Schlüter.
