David Campbell Bannerman is a British politician. Bannerman started off as member of the Conservative Party, but, later, joined the United Kingdom Independence Party. During the 2007 Scottish Parliament Elections, he stood as UKIP's Holyrood Regional List candidate for the Highlands and Islands. He was elected MEP in 2009 for the United Kingdom Independence Party and defected to the Conservative Party in 2011.
