| Virtual Networks A "Virtual Network" is a group of Think Tanks identified by certain semantic and normative (ideological) commonalities (e.g. climate change scepticism). Such a virtual network constitutes a research field that differs from the study of formal networks. Formal networks are real in the sense of officially acknowledged and immediately open to empirical validation. Virtual networks on the other hand display shared ideas. Social network analysis tools can be applied to find out if or to what extent virtual networks are real networks that display linkages (membership in networks, personnel, resources etc.). The organisation seems to be part of a network of socially conservative organisations committed to fighting against abortion, euthanasia and gay rights. European Dignity Watch advocates "life, the family and fundamental freedoms." The organisation accuses the European Parliament of pressuring member states into legalising same-sex marriage, and the European Commission of bias for hosting a pro-gay photo exhibition.

It seems the organisation is amongst those lobbyists in the EU capital opposing gay rights who are in close contact with US neo-conservative organisations.

Working mode, goals
Its website provides no contact details. It lists four board members, one of whom - Sophia Kuby - is accredited for access to the European Parliament. Its president, Jorge Soley, is a well-known figure within the European Christian-conservative movement. He is the founder of the Fundacion Burke in Spain, a conservative think-tank, and one of four board members of the Center for European Renewal, based in The Hague.
