Notes on the influence fields

Often people are present in various fields, but there presence can't be connected to specific actors (e.g. it is often senseless to connect the media presence of politicians to particular newspapers). We use this section to document these unspecific, but nonetheless important presences.
Arnason holds further positions at the University of Iceland: he was board member (1992-1998) and is chairman of the Institute of Fisheries Science. He is member of the board at the the Environmental Research Institute since 1998. Arnason peer reviewed a study of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center. He is in favour of regulating access to the oceanic ressources by establishing a system of private property rights[1].
